Empowering the LGBTQ+ Community

Our Mission at Wimberley Pride

Our world is experiencing a surge in hateful speech and actions toward the
LGBTQ+ community. In the fifty + years since the Stonewall Uprising,
marching against hate in solidarity with our allies has transformed the fight
and led to great advances for LBGTQ+ legal rights. In 2025, we continue to
demonstrate tireless commitment to achieving equal rights and are
energized to rise above the recent surge and move “Onward Not Backward”.

Wimberley Pride March honors those who rallied before us,reminds us that there is no going back, and gatherscommunity to support those who are still marginalized, oppressed, and discriminated against because of theirgender and sexuality.
